I remember an episode of the Real Housewives of NJ where Caroline Manzo admitted to shaving her face in the shower everyday. She claimed that it was a wonderful way to exfoliate! While i was a bit disturbed by her claim, it did trigger some thoughts. I mean, shaving your face certainly would exfoliate and eliminate some of the dead surface cells i suppose but there has to be a better way! After all, this is the skin on your face! It's incredibly delicate and should be treated as such!
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when DERMAFLASH reached out asking if i wanted to try their Facial Exfoliating Device. The idea of a facial exfoliating device certainly peeked my interest so i agreed to try it out. I had no idea what to expect but was excited to try something new. Well, little did i know just how much of an impact this tiny device has had on my skin! Wow! Before i get into that however, lets chat about what it actually is and what it does shall we?

My personal experience with DERMAFLASH:
Admittedly, i was a bit scared to use this. When i realized i was essentially shaving my face (are you reading this Caroline Manzo?), i became a bit nervous about the blade. But still, i committed to trying this and wanted to be sure that i gave it a fair try! First, i used the step one cleanser to ensure that my skin was squeaky clean just like the directions read! Next, I used the enclosed face guide map to determine the direction of my strokes. I took a few deep breaths and i went to town! The second this device touched my face i let out a bit sigh of relief. It's so gentle but soooo effective! Let me just tell you that when i was done, my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth. I followed with the Step 3 soothing cream. This hydrated my skin and left it feeling delicious! I have since used this weekly and love the way it's making my skin look and feel. I definitely notice that my skin is brighter. I'm down to two blades (for sanitary purposes, you have to discard each blade with every use), but just placed a replacement order because i sincerely love what this little device has done for my skin!
