Pixi's Fall Collection

As many of you know, last month i was fortunate enough to attend Pixi's Fall Launch Event in NYC and the collection is nothing short of spectacular!  First, let me begin by saying how incredibly happy that i am about Pixi's new Mattelustre Lippies!  Finally!  They're so rich, beautiful and incredibly comfortable to wear!  Typically, in a collection there are always a few stand outs.. a few favorites and a few that i skip because they're just not me. That did not happen here!  I loved every single color in this collection so much!  That's kind of insane to say considering there are so many options but it's true!  I will say that there are a few that have gotten more wear than others like Pure Fuchsia, Peach Blossom and Honey Bare!

Another launch that had me completely stoked was Pixi's famous Glow Tonic which is now available at Target in a travel friendly bottle!  Thank you Pixi!!!!  Just this past summer i was wishing they had a travel size option for this skincare favorite of mine as i poured my Glow Tonic into a tiny travel container.  The Glow Tonic is a major part of my skincare routine.  I love it so much and can't imagine ever being without it.  It just really brightens my complexion. The Colour Correcting Powder Foundation and Natural Contour Powder were also amazing additions to the Fall collection.  The powders work beautifully to give your complexion a medium to full coverage.  They're just perfect for my make up bag for quick touch ups!  The Natural Contour Powder is insanely good!  A little goes a long way!  A few swipes on the hollows of your cheeks and you've got instant cheek bones!  Honestly, this is a powerful product that will literally define and enhance your features!

There are four new Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes to swoon over.  Amethyst Aura (pretty purples and violets), Opal Glow (pearl and apricots), Mineral Contour (pewter and cocoas)  and Aquamarine Dream (Turquoises and Saphires).  The color collection on these palettes are so so pretty!

I'm loving the Endless Brow Gel Pens from the fall collection!  They apply smoothly and are super buildable. They fill in your brow creating the look of real hair.  A major bonus?  The formula is waterproof!

Lastly, Pixi's Lash Line Ink is perfection!  I'm such a cat eye girl and so this new launch was so major for me.  The color pay off is intense and the applicator makes for such a precise application!  Love this liner pen!

Pixi Fall 2015 Launch Event in NYC

Last Tuesday, i had the pleasure of attending the Pixi Fall 2015 Launch Event in NYC with my good beauty blogger friend Niki of 'Hello Miss Niki' (go follow her, she's amazing).  As always, Pixi events are such a fest for senses! The event took place at the Standard Hotel penthouse in downtown so as you could imagine, the views of NYC were nothing short of spectacular!  While the views were amazing, the beautiful Fall collection took center stage with Pixi's 'holy grail' Glow Tonic as the center piece of it all.  There were specialty drinks inspired by the Glow tonic, a brows and eyes station, a lip station and a complexion station.  Petra the woman behind the brand is quite possibly one of the kindest, sweetest most inspiring woman!  We chatted for a little while about makeup of course and about our twin girls (she has twins too!) The entire event was one that will certainly stand out in my mind as a wonderful night and the swag bag... oh em geee... thank you Pixi and Target Style for such a gracious and incredibly generous swag bag!  What a treat!  I will chat about that a little later on when i cover the Fall Collection.  Today however, i thought I'd give you a glimpse of the fun night at the Pixi event because many of you that do not have SnapChat (follow me at FashionMavenMom) were sad that you couldn't follow along!  I've put together a fun little montage and hope you enjoy it!
