MAC Pressed Pigment in Flicker

As i mentioned in my last post, i recently visited my local MAC counter to exchange my empty MAC containers for two free lipsticks via MAC's 'back to MAC' recycling program.  While i accomplished my goal of bringing home two super cute shades of red lipstick... i also fell hard for their Pressed Pigment in Flicker!  If you've never tried these, i can assure you they're nothing short of magical!  Really... magical!  I swatched 'flicker' on my hand and knew that there was no way that i was going home without this stunner!  Yes it's shimmery, yes, there may even be a bit of glitter and a ton of sparkle but that's what makes this beauty so special!  It's honestly like nothing I've ever sampled!  The color is white as snow, however, the color applies so beautifully!  It packs on the shimmer and sparkle making any special occasion extra special!  But don't save this beauty solely for special occasions... in fact, why not make every day a 'special' day!  I wore it today as shadow and highlighter.  I packed on the mascara and finished off my look with MAC's Ruby Woo!  I'm obsessed!  I love it so much, i totally want to go back and buy the rest of the collection!!!  What? Too much?  I guess i should also pick up a bigger makeup train case... mine is seriously bursting at the seams!  OK, I'll call my therapist... tomorrow!

MAC - Ruby Woo

There is nothing more sexy, more beautiful then a naked eye paired with a red lip!  Nothing!  OK, perhaps I'm over dramatizing the situation but really, a red lip is a classic and will never be out of style!  This is why i own quite a few shades of this gorgeous lip color!  Last week, i visited the MAC counter and fell instantly in love with a couple of reds that i didn't already own!  It was actually kind of funny because every lip color i sampled, i already owned... ack!  Don't judge!  I'll tell you about Ruby Woo today... the other pretty red i walked away with shall remain a mystery until later this week! 

Before i talk about how gorgeous this color is and how i die for anything MAC, i want to remind you (if you don't already know) that MAC has a fabulous recycling program that totally benefits YOU!  In fact, both my lipsticks were free because i recycled 12 empty MAC products. It's called "back to MAC".   If you bring back 6 empty MAC containers, you can exchange it for one free lipstick at any MAC counter.  If you take the 6 empty containers to an actual MAC store, you will be able to pick from an eye shadow, lipstick or lip gloss!  How great is that??!! OK back to the gorgeous Ruby Woo!  This is a super cute bright matte red.  I'd compare it to Russian Red... they're very similar!  I wore it today and got plenty of compliments on it!  It's a total stand out!  If you're looking to 'woo' that special someone... put this baby on your lips! So lets chat... what are your 'go to' reds?
