There's nothing i love more than trying new makeup brands and products... obviously! Particularly those created by celebrity makeup artists like Kristofer Buckle! His story is quite interesting... his career began when he was offered a job at the Metropolitan Opera after being scouted by an actress in Penn Station for his own personal style! That speaks volumes for this man's unsurpassed talent! When i received a package containing some of his iconic makeup, i simply couldn't wait to play!
I've loved foundation sticks for quite some time now simply because they're just so easy to use. Packaging aside, formula is crucial when it comes to perfecting one's canvas so i tested Kristofer Buckle's Perfecting Foundation Stick (in light in case you're wondering) for several days before compiling my thoughts on this beauty. First impression... the formula is quite creamy. Way more than you'd expect in a stick foundation. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, it's just a bit unexpected. That being said, this foundation blends seamlessly on to the skin and i would say it's a medium to full coverage foundation that is buildable according to your wants and needs. Simply apply a few strokes directly to skin and then use a foundation brush in circular motions to blend it all into the skin. You will definitely want to set it with a setting powder or the product will get a bit slippery. Overall though, i felt that it provided good coverage, evened out my skin and lasted all day (i tested it for about 12 hours a day).
My brows are a bit of a hot mess. I basically have no brows... ok i have brows but they're barely there and i have to fill them in daily which is not fun but necessary. Naturally, i need a powerful brow product to do the job! What i loved about Kristofer Buckle's Brow Champion Brow Enhancing Duo is that you basically have everything you need to get your brows in tip top shape in this one innovative product. Simply use the included brush by dipping it in the pomade and fill in your brows using short upward strokes. Follow with the brow powder duo for natural looking brows. This all in one packaging even includes a mirror so you can get your brows done anywhere... yes!
Last but certainly not least the product that stole the show! If you're looking for a richly pigmented, creamy, super comfortable to wear, long lasting lipstick look no further than Kristofer Buckle's Cashmere Slip Longwear Lipstick Duo in Obsessed/Dare! Holy gorgeousness on every level possible! Seriously this is a lippie that will get you noticed in the most perfect of ways! This color duo is sooooo gonna be my Fall go-to situation! Trust me, you will definitely want to get your hands on it! I promise you'll love it as much as i do!
