the lips! Buxom knows a thing or two about this because if you've ever swiped one of these beauties on your lips, you know exactly what I'm talking about #amiright?! I recently had a chance to try a variety of formulas and textures from the brand and can honestly say there wasn't one that i didn't fall madly in love with. That's quite a statement right there.... So let's break it all down shall we?
Buxom Full-On Lip Polish: This formula is the ultimate plumper! It's high shine that tingles a bit when you first apply leaving your lips feeling cooled and refreshed! Best part? Lips stay lusciously soft, plumped and overall gorgeous! "Buxom's unique peptide and hyaluronic acid booster helps to support natural collagen, gives lips a voluminzed look, and plum to perfection without irritation". I
will say that i don't typically care for plumping formulas because i hate the way they make my lips feel. However, this is the first time I've reached for a plumping lippie continuously! It's so refreshing and cooling during these hot summer months! It comes in a variety of colors too so you're sure to find your shade range with ease. I swatched Dominique (sheer glittering finish) and Kimberly (soft pink shimmer finish)... both worn beautifully alone or topped over a filled in lip pencil or
complimentary lippie.
Buxom Full-On Lip Cream: This formula is perfect if you want glossy lips without the shimmer and glimmer! It's plumps your lips with a bit of a cooling feel and adds major shine! It's super comfortable to wear and surprising long lasting for a gloss! While i love a gorgeous shimmer, i sometimes prefer to let the gloss do it's thing without any interference you know what i mean? I swatched Lavender Cosmo and it's serious perfection!
Buxom Full-On Lip Stick: This is the perfect multi-tasker! The pointed tip allows you to line your lips for the ultimate definition! Fill them in with this creamy, velvet-matte (yet super comfortable) color delivering major hydration with vitamins A, C and E. In keeping with Buxom's famous formula, this too will give your lips a cooling sensation for a sexy, lip-plumping effect! I swatched it in Monte Carlo (a gorgeous berry pink)!
Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner: This gorgeous lip liner is like no other! Use it to line your lips for some serious definition. But the fun doesn't end there... this rich and creamy formula allows you to fill in your lips for major impact. It includes a built-in brush to color, blend and contour effortlessly. Wear alone or top it off with a coat of gloss in a complimentary shade.
Buxom Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick: I have lived in this gorgeous lipstick most of the Summer and cannot tell you how many compliments I've received on it! In fact, it was my lippie choice in celebrating this year's National Lipstick Day (see my instagram photo here)! It comes in a matte or satin formula. The color I'm swatching here (Coral Confessions) is in the satin formula. It's richly pigmented but feels weightless and super comfy. It comes in a huge array of shades to suit your taste and skin tone. Simply put... obsessed!
One of the combos that has many of you asking me on Insta-Stories about is the Lip Liner in Femme Fatale topped with the Lip Polish in Kimberly! Wow, the few times I've worn that i had so many of you messaging me asking what was on my lips! Ahhhh there it is beauties!! My little secret combo lol!
