I was first introduced to It's a 10 a couple of years ago when i was in LA shooting the It Cosmetics Commercial! I visited Nigel's (essentially a beauty lover's dream) and picked up the It's a 10 cult favorite leave in conditioner spray! I loved it so much that it became a staple in my haircare routine! However, I'd never really tried any other products from the collection because truth be told, i didn't realize there was more to the collection than just the conditioning spray! Well, i recently had a chance to try a few more products and let me just tell you, run... don't walk to your nearest It's a 10 retailer because WOW!
For those of you who've followed my blog, you know i have thick, frizzy, wavy/curly color treated hair. In fact, my hair can be quite a diva when it comes to products that work. I immediately know if a product is effective by the way it feels when applied. Personally, i look for products that are hydrating and smoothing. I dislike the feeling of product overload in my hair! I much prefer feeling soft, manageable locks when i run my fingers through my hair. Needless to say, when these products arrived at my doorstep, i quickly put them to the test!
The It's a 10 Miracle Dry Oil Spray is uhhhmazing! A few quick spritzes on my dry hair leaves my hair looking and feeling soft, shiny and healthy. I love that while it's a dry oil, it does not weigh down my hair at all! I begin by spraying in from the middle to the tips of my hair avoiding the root area. Honestly, this is definitely a product i will replenish because it makes quite a difference in the overall look and texture of the hair!
The It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Potion Plus Keratin leaves hair sleek and smooth while protecting it from heat and styling. It works on all hair types by preserving straight styles while separating curls and safeguarding against heat styling, and resisting humidity. I use this product on my wet hair and it instantly smooths it making it easier to blow dry and style.
The It's a 10 Silk Express Miracle Soothing Balm is a great product to use if you want to straighten your hair with a flat iron. I don't like to do this often because of heat damage but when i do, this is the product to help me achieve the perfect blowout. I simply work one or two pumps and distribute through my hair. I notice my hair blow dries a bit faster too which is a nice bonus! Lastly, i seal the product in with a flat iron and the results are smooth, silky and shiny hair that lasts several days!
I'm so glad I've had a chance to try a few more products from this brand! So far i will say that i have yet to meet one that i don't love! I just ordered a shampoo and conditioner from It's a 10 so let's see if they hold up as well as their styling products! If they're as good then I'm in for a real treat!
