GLOSSYBOX July Edition

This post is a bit late because my GLOSSYBOX arrived while i was in Cabo, however, i can assure you it was worth the wait!  This is easily my favorite GLOSSYBOX to date!  I literally squealed with excitement with every product i pulled out of the box!  There wasn't one single product i didn't love and i love that they had several makeup products!  Those are always my favorite!  Most importantly, the value of this box is insane!

Let's dive right in shall we!  The first product i picked up from the box was the NUXE Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse.  This is a FULL SIZE product valued at $45!  An all in one beauty elixir, NUXE's Dry Oil Prodigieuse can be pritzed into hair for effortless beach waves, blended into foundation for an added glow, or as a replacement to your everyday body cream.  I've owned this product before and love it's multi-tasking range.  It's incredibly hydrating but not greasy which is so important.  Bonus? I love the way it smells!!!

I can't even begin to explain how much i love this next product! Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua is absolutely divine!  I already own several of these because i love the formula but this color is stunning! This beauty is long lasting and ultra pigmented so a little goes a long way!

I'm a fan of EYEKO but have never tried their Fat Sticks so when i pulled this beauty out of my GLOSSYBOX i was thrilled to finally get my hands on it!  EYEKO Fat Stick in Satin is simply perfection!  It transforms your eye makeup in one quick swipe with this intense, glossy eye stick. The metallic after-effect provides on trend, smudgy iridescence that can be worn day or night.  Once you swipe this product on your lids, be sure to quickly blend because once it sets, it sets!!!  This creme stick is so long lasting and really brightens my eyes.  I love this so much!

Another home run product in my July GLOSSYBOX! I don't think i've ever met anyone more impatient than... well, me! So naturally, waiting for my nails to dry is quite the task!  I was thrilled to see Leighton Denny Miracle Mist in my GLOSSYBOX because i love any product that can speed up my nail drying time!

I'm obsessed with sheet masks!  I just love the ease of using one of these beauties. While i have yet to try the Fango Essenziali mask, it promises to heighten your glow by combining a cocktail of skin soothing ingredients including avocado, kelp and acai berry.  This delightful trio joins forces to restore moisture to even the most sensitive skin.  Be sure to rub the residual serum all over your face and let dry for best results.

So i was really excited to see this product included in my GLOSSYBOX because i just got the large size GLOV in the mail and was quite intrigued by this product.  Little did i know they actually have a GLOV Quick Treat!  This product is meant to replace your washcloths and sponges to remove your makeup.  Simply moisten with water and watch your makeup melt off!  You can reuse it by washing it with soap.  I will have a full review on GLOV soon so stay tuned!

Travel Friendly!

As you know i just got back from Cabo San Lucas for the most amazing 12 day vacay.  As i began the much dreaded packing process, i decided to grab a few of the 'travel friendly' items i planned on taking with me to show you! These are things that helped me tremendously in one way or another so i wanted to share them with you.

When it comes to toiletry bags, nobody does it better than Sonia Kashuk!  She thinks of every detail when creating these bags and i certainly appreciate that!  These are the two that came with me for a variety of reasons.  There are numerous compartments to place all of your belongings. I love that some of the pouches are attached by velcro making it easy to pull out and place where necessary.  For instance, i placed all of the things i need on my nightstand in one of those pouches, so when i arrived in Cabo, i simply pulled out the pouch and placed it on the nightstand closest to the side where i slept. Also, some of the compartments are fabric and some are plastic which i love for putting in my shampoo, conditioner and remaining hair care products.  If anything spills during travel, these pouches can easily be wiped down. Sonia Kashuk travel bags are sturdy and affordable!  I've traveled with them for years and trust them with all of my favorite products!

Tweezerman is a brand I've trusted my brows to for years!  They've since expanded their line of products and I'm loving some of their 'travel friendly' options!  I was stoked when they launched their makeup brushes.  I loved the quality and affordability.  So naturally, this travel set was perfect for Cabo!  Also, i love my Tweezerman rose gold eye lash curler but it's quite bulky for travel.  This foldable option is just perfect to toss in your makeup pouch without taking up too much room.

I recently discovered Boots Botanics and I've been LOVING the Cleansing Face Wipes and Eye Roll-On.  First, the wipes are super saturated (which i love) and they do an excellent job of wiping away the day's impurities.  I tossed these in my carry on bag because with a full day of travel (connecting flights and all) it was so refreshing to reach for these and cleanse my skin as needed.  The Eye Roll on was essentially a must on this trip.  We woke up at 3 am to make our 7 am flight.  Needless to say i had extra baggage under my eyes.  This product significantly minimizes the puffiness and dark circles so i kept it with me and applied it quite often during travel!  It's very affordable and has the most wonderful cooling affect when applied to the under eye region.  Highly recommend it!

If you know me you know i cannot live without my Pixi Glow Tonic right? It's done wonders for my skin and i couldn't be happier for this new 'travel friendly' option!  The Glow Tonic To-Go pads are seriously the best thing that ever happened in life!  They're so easy to use and they're TSA approved! I also tossed the Nourishing Lip Polish in my makeup pouch because i love how the tip has these tiny little plastic bristles that help exfoliate the lips while releasing the nourishing lip balm to keep your pout soft and hydrated.  Lastly, I'm all about a healthy glow during my beach vacations.  While i love makeup i always think 'less is more' when you're at the beach so naturally Pixi's new Multibalms were center stage in my vacation makeup repertoire.  A few swipes of these beauties on my cheeks, lids and lips and I'm good to go!  Honestly, such a great product that blends like a dream and instantly dressed up your pretty little canvas!  (pssst... stay tuned for a giveaway soon)!

The Eye Liner That Saved Life!

OK so perhaps i sound a bit dramatic with my title but hear me out... For years, but I've adorned a cat eye but sadly, my allergies have gotten the best of me.  For a while there i waved my white flag and surrendered to skipping the eye liner all together because a few minutes after application, my teary allergy ridden eyes washed it all away.  That is until Make Up For Ever's Aqua XL eyeliners came into my life and essentially saved it! See where I'm going with this?  I've been such a fan of MUFE's Aqua collections over the years.  You can read quite a few of my previous reviews by clicking the search button on my site but the truth is, this collection offers gorgeous products that simply won't budge!

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencils are extra-long lasting.  The Aqua XL range of 20 smooth-gliding liners allows you to get creative with your look or stay classically chic, with a waterproof, sweat proof, and ultimately smudge-proof formula, making for flawless summer makeup.  For me personally, this means with a well sharpened tip, i can create my signature cat eye without fear of it ever washing away!  I can even wear these beauties on my water line and rest assured that they are not going anywhere.  Believe me when i tell you they will not budge, move, smear or fade! The color pay off is intense allowing you to get as creative as your little heart desires. While it hasn't necessarily saved my life, it certainly has saved my cat eye and for that I'm forever indebted to MUFE!

You GLOW Girl!

The best part of Summer besides salty beach waves is getting that gorgeous glow!  I'm a total advocate for achieving a sun kissed look safely (SPF always peeps), so i thought I'd round up some of my favorite products for getting your skin looking healthy and glowing! The list is quite long so bare with me!

One of the most important things you can do for your skin besides using a good sunscreen is nourish it.  Pixi's H2O Skindrink is UHHHHMAZING!  This intense moisture gel delivers a burst of hydration to skin.  The formula is cooling and feels incredible against my skin.  It's lightweight and has the most delicious and very light scent. It's everything!

If you love Pixi as much as i do, you won't want to live life without their Tinted Brilliance Balm! These lippies are so soft and glide on beautifully.  They're the most comfortable wear.  While i typically love a strong lip... during the warmer months, i love to opt for tinted balms.  These are always a favorite of mine.  Oh and my mom is obsessed with them too!  She rocks them to the very core... understandably!  After all, nothing compliments a summer glow better than a good tinted balm!

I'm obsessed with facial mists.  I keep them on my night stand, vanity, makeup pouch, beach bag... you get the point!  No 7 Hydrating Mineral Water Mist is so refreshing! This is wonderful after you moisturize, to set your makeup or simply refresh on a hot or stressful day!  The non-greasy, hypo-allergenic, mineral water spritz instantly hydrates and leaves skin feeling fresh!  Believe me when i tell you it's a Summer time BFF... besides, it's super budget friendly!

YOUNGBLOOD's Mineral Illuminating Tint Body is the perfect Summer situation for your entire body!  This creamy, luminous tinted lotion leaves a healthy sheen on your arms, legs and anywhere else you want to glow!  It leaves the most beautiful, subtle glow while providing major hydration!  It's lightly scented of Shea Butter and Coconut Oils... delish! You'll want to top off your glow with YOUNGLOOD's Lunar Dust in Twilight.  A light dusting of this light reflecting beauty adds shimmering highlights to your face, legs and shoulders!  Honestly, highlighters are all the rage right now and believe me when i tell you, a quick swipe of this beauty to your shoulders will add the perfect sun-kissed dimension to your skin!  All you need is a pretty cold shoulder top and you're all set!

I love a bit of shimmer against my skin during the Summer months.  Borghese Spendore Brightening Makeup has easily become a favorite of mine.  You can wear this alone or mix it with your favorite foundation.  Just a small pump of this beauty gives your skin the most radiant glow!  I'm seriously in love!

There is nothing better than a good multi-tasking product!  The Mineral Fusion 3-in-1 Color Stick has been a fixture in my makeup pouch for a few weeks now because in the summer, i like to keep things simple!  A few swipes of this beauty on my lips, cheeks and lids and I'm good to go!

When it comes to glowing skin, Sonia Kashuk knows a thing or two!  I mean, take a look at SK's Chic Luminosity Bronzer/Highlighter Duo!  The packaging is absolutely stunning but the color payoff is the real star here!  A few years back i purchased the Bronzer/Blush Duo and wore it 'til it hit pan (which rarely happens around these parts).  This really speaks to the quality of this incredibly affordable product!  When my friends at SK sent over this beauty, i knew we'd be instant BFF's.... and i was right!  Pssst.... the super cute makeup pouch shown in the first pic is also Sonia Kashuk.  She seriously has the best travel and makeup pouches!  Check them out here.

Speaking of SK products, the Lip & Cheek Tint in Enchanted 01 is another one of my summer jams! It's such an easy product to instantly add a flush of color to your lips and cheeks!  The formula is silky and blends beautifully.  This is definitely an SK must!

I've been trying and loving some Golden Door products.  The Bronzer is so innovative and fun to use! Simply press the button to release the bronzer powder and swipe wherever you want to glow!  I like applying it to my cheeks and shoulders whenever i wear cold shoulder tops!  It just adds a subtle glow and i personally love it!  BTW did you know that 100% of Gold Door's profits go to select charities across the U.S. dedicated to transforming the lives of children? Speaking of Golden Door, I'm obsessing over the Tinted Lip Treatments with SPF 15!  They add the most beautiful flush of color and feel incredibly comfortable and delicious on my lips.  You can't go without a couple of these in your makeup pouch this summer... trust me!
