As you know i just got back from Cabo San Lucas for the most amazing 12 day vacay. As i began the much dreaded packing process, i decided to grab a few of the 'travel friendly' items i planned on taking with me to show you! These are things that helped me tremendously in one way or another so i wanted to share them with you.
When it comes to toiletry bags, nobody does it better than Sonia Kashuk! She thinks of every detail when creating these bags and i certainly appreciate that! These are the two that came with me for a variety of reasons. There are numerous compartments to place all of your belongings. I love that some of the pouches are attached by velcro making it easy to pull out and place where necessary. For instance, i placed all of the things i need on my nightstand in one of those pouches, so when i arrived in Cabo, i simply pulled out the pouch and placed it on the nightstand closest to the side where i slept. Also, some of the compartments are fabric and some are plastic which i love for putting in my shampoo, conditioner and remaining hair care products. If anything spills during travel, these pouches can easily be wiped down. Sonia Kashuk travel bags are sturdy and affordable! I've traveled with them for years and trust them with all of my favorite products!
Tweezerman is a brand I've trusted my brows to for years! They've since expanded their line of products and I'm loving some of their 'travel friendly' options! I was stoked when they launched their makeup brushes. I loved the quality and affordability. So naturally, this travel set was perfect for Cabo! Also, i love my Tweezerman rose gold eye lash curler but it's quite bulky for travel. This foldable option is just perfect to toss in your makeup pouch without taking up too much room.
I recently discovered Boots Botanics and I've been LOVING the Cleansing Face Wipes and Eye Roll-On. First, the wipes are super saturated (which i love) and they do an excellent job of wiping away the day's impurities. I tossed these in my carry on bag because with a full day of travel (connecting flights and all) it was so refreshing to reach for these and cleanse my skin as needed. The Eye Roll on was essentially a must on this trip. We woke up at 3 am to make our 7 am flight. Needless to say i had extra baggage under my eyes. This product significantly minimizes the puffiness and dark circles so i kept it with me and applied it quite often during travel! It's very affordable and has the most wonderful cooling affect when applied to the under eye region. Highly recommend it!
If you know me you know i cannot live without my Pixi Glow Tonic right? It's done wonders for my skin and i couldn't be happier for this new 'travel friendly' option! The Glow Tonic To-Go pads are seriously the best thing that ever happened in life! They're so easy to use and they're TSA approved! I also tossed the Nourishing Lip Polish in my makeup pouch because i love how the tip has these tiny little plastic bristles that help exfoliate the lips while releasing the nourishing lip balm to keep your pout soft and hydrated. Lastly, I'm all about a healthy glow during my beach vacations. While i love makeup i always think 'less is more' when you're at the beach so naturally Pixi's new Multibalms were center stage in my vacation makeup repertoire. A few swipes of these beauties on my cheeks, lids and lips and I'm good to go! Honestly, such a great product that blends like a dream and instantly dressed up your pretty little canvas!
