Let's chat about the BEST DAY EVER shall we? First, i have my sweet blogger friend Katie McBroom of Martinis and Mascara to thank for this amazing day! Sadly Katie couldn't make the event but the kind people at Tanger and People Style Watch Magazine allowed me to bring a plus one. I wound up bringing my sister because her birthday was the following day so i knew this would absolutely make her day even more special! We drove into Manhattan for a light breakfast and meeting at the Times Inc. building. This event was sponsored by Tanger Outlets and a variety of magazines (People Style Watch, InStyle, Real Simple, Southern Living and People). We met with the fashion editors for each magazine and chatted about looks they wanted to see from the bloggers at the event. We were then bussed into Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, NY for our day of shopping fun! Once we arrived, we were paired up with a magazine (i couldn't be happier to have been paired with Kami fashion editor for People Style Watch Magazine - one of my faves) for my shopping mission! Kami gave us some key words of looks they were going for. Ours were 'chic', 'budget friend' (mostly items under $100) and 'street style'. We were given a Tanger gift card for $250 and a Saks Off 5th gift card in the amount of $100 to shop for some fun pieces to showcase keeping our key words in mind!

We headed to a few other stores. I picked up a pair of caramel UGGS because i needed a new pair. Lastly we headed to Saks Off 5th for some more shopping adventures! There were camera crews and photographers on hand documenting the day. They shot some footage of me walking into the store and browsing the racks of clothing! That was fun! I needed a hat and gloves to complete my look so i picked up a grey hat with a pom pom on top along with faux fur lined fingerless gloves to match. I still had money left over but we were all out of time.

At this point, my sister took some pictures of me in my new outfit. We then headed over to the media lounge that was set up for us. Each blogger submitted a photo wearing their purchases using an indicated hashtag to enter for a chance to win a $2,500 gift card to Tanger. This would be SO AMAZING to win because I've had to rebuild my entire wardrobe after losing 70lbs so fingers crossed! We then headed back to the Times Inc. building and said our goodbyes. We had an amazing day! I'm so thankful for this amazing opportunity! Thank you Tanger, Style Watch Magazine and Katie for such a wonderful day! I will never ever forget it!
