Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad in Rust

I'm a huge Kat Von D fan!  In fact, i was glued to the computer all night and all day waiting for the Sephora Epic Rewards because i was determined to get the Kat Von D Vault (which i did - watch my video here)!  Naturally, when the Light + Shade Palette launched, i quickly snatched one up.  The palette is incredible quality and the shadows have major stay power.  Every time i wear that palette i get a ton of compliments! Needless to say i was stoked when i saw the release of a smaller version which i quickly picked up in Rust.  While the Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad is a much smaller version of its full size counter part, it is still the same incredibly quality you'd expect from Kat Von D. The shades, while similar, are not the same as those in the larger palette.  I love the warmth of the Quad in Rust.  The brick hue is one i'll reach for quite often.  The lighter shades are great for highlighting and i typically use such shades often. It's travel friendly and perfect for tossing in your makeup pouch for quick touch ups.  Overall i'm really pleased with this palette!  I will leave you with this thought... for $26 you get four amazing shadows.  For $46 ($20 more) you'll get 12!  You decide what's best for you! Perhaps keeping it small is the better choice if you want a palette that's great for travel yet functions for all your shadow needs.  However, if you're looking to invest in a palette that offers a wide range of neutrals, for an additional $20 you'll have that with the full size palette. Either way, i know you'll be happy with the range of colors and quality.
