Last September, when i attended the PIXI Fall launch, i chatted with Petra about my love of Pixi's Glow Tonic. I asked her if there was a possibility that she would potentially expand the line into skincare. She hinted that it was already in the works which had me beyond excited! We did get a sneak peek at the make-up wipes which i instantly loved. Naturally, when the line launched i knew i needed to get my hands on it. The packaging is so beautiful and accessorizes my nightstand in the sweetest of ways!
OK so while overall i liked the collection, there were definitely a few standouts! Lets chat about these beauties shall we?
Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths - If you can get past the gorgeous packaging on these makeup wipes you'll fall even more in love with the way they feel and most importantly the way they work! These makeup wipes melt away all the makeup and impurities from your skin (even waterproof makeup)! These are wonderful to keep in your nightstand or gym bag! Bonus? They smell amazing!
The Pixi Skintreats Glow Peel Pads absolutely peeked my interest! After all, aging skin is a major concern of mine. These highly effective exfoliating pads contain 20% glycolic acid to reveal brighter, healthier, more radiant skin over time. These pads help minimize pores, breakouts and fine lines. They're super convenient and the application process is relatively quick. The only bummer is the need to rinse. These would be soooo perfect if rinsing was not necessary but all in all, it's not that big of a deal and the benefits outweigh this slight inconvenience.
Pixi Overnight Glow Serum - I love products that work while I'm resting. Night time is the best time to really cleanse and prep your skin for skincare because so much cell renewal happens while you're sleeping. This serum exfoliates and soothes skin while you sleep to reveal a brighter complexion. It's formulated with 10% glycolic acid and arginine to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and fade sun spots over time. This works beautifully under your moisturizer.
Pixi Nourishing Sleep Mask - I am obsessed with face masks. Naturally i love the idea of an overnight mask! This one adds major moisture to your skin! It also helps heal and protect skin while you sleep. You'll want to apply it after your serum to seal it in. The combo is fantastic!
Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream - Here's another overnight option for your skin! This fast absorbing, nutrient-rich nightly essential helps protect, nourish and hydrate while you sleep while calming and balancing your skin tone. It's a bit lighter weight than the sleep mask but just as effective!
Pixi 24K Eye Elixir - This beauty feels delicious under my eyes! It's infused with powerful age-defying ingredients to refresh eyes and prevent signs of fatigue. Collagen repairs while peptides plump fine lines. The cooling rollerball applicator soothes and promotes circulation around the eye. It feels amazing! Certainly a standout from the collection!
Pixi Nourishing Lip Polish - Speaking of standouts... this lip polish is soooo innovative! It's a 2-in-1 lip exfoliator that nourishes and helps repair while protecting dry, sensitive lips. The unique massage applicator stimulates circulation. It holds prime real estate on my night stand. I love massaging this beauty on my lips every night and every morning! Major props to Pixi for creating the perfect product for this lip balm enthusiast!
