I wanted to share some exciting news!  I've decided to take on a  #30Days2BetterSkin challenge that i think will help me on my way to great looking skin!  You see, since going back to work in September, i find myself wishing there were more than 24 hours in a day. There's just so much i need to do on a daily basis that i just feel overwhelmed at times.  Between work, being a mommy to twin girls (including all of their extra curricular activities), home, social obligations, the blog... there are times where somethings get neglected.  Most times, the one neglected is myself.  You see, while i never ever go to bed without washing my face, i find that i sometimes forget to do some of the little things that can essentially make a big difference when it comes to maintaining healthy skin and this past month, my skin is completely showing signs of neglect.  For instance, drinking at least 8 glasses of water.  I personally love water... it's my go-to drink!  However, i pick up a large black coffee in the morning and find myself nursing it for the entire time that I'm at work.  This means, i consume very little water during the day. This is not OK for my skin!  Also, while i use SPF in the summer time, i tend to slack come this time of year.  We all know how important this step is yet many of us forget, myself included.  Lastly, I've been really slacking off on exercising. I struggle with my weight all the time and know the importance of staying active, not just for weight loss purposes, but for the health and skin benefits.  So here's how I've been challenging myself!

First, I've been making sure to properly wash my face twice a day (morning and night).  This does not mean solely using makeup remover wipes! I'm talking facial cleanser and water! Second, I've been ensuring that i sweat for 20 minutes consecutively every single day! Some days i walk/run on the treadmill, others i take a class at the gym or go for a run.  Really, anything to get myself moving for 20 minutes is helpful.  Lastly, I've decided to begin taking Exaltria to help me get beautiful skin from inside out!  Exaltria (which can be purchased on Amazon) is an innovative, dietary supplement that hydrates from within to increase the glossiness, elasticity and youthful glow of your skin.  I'm so excited about this challenge!  I'm hoping to recruit some of you to take on this challenge as well!  You can do it any way that suits you!  If you're slacking on any of the things i mentioned (drinking enough water, wearing sunblock) then go ahead and join the challenge with me!  I took a before picture so that i have something to compare my skin to when my 30 days are up!  I will be sure to keep you posted! #collectivebias
