Make Up For Ever - Makeup That Stays Put!

When I'm craving makeup that withstands the summer heat, i know i can always count on Make Up For Ever's Aqua line to ensure that everything that stays put!  They offer a wide range of products in gorgeous hues with the stay power i crave when I'm sweating profusely... and while it's not attractive, it's a reality that i must deal with!  I knew I'd found a gem when i kept my Aqua Eyes creme shadow on through hot yoga class (in 105 degree heat BTW) and it didn't budge!  Now that's impressive!  So this summer, i was excited to try some of MUFE's new products!  Well, as usual they did not disappoint!  From the Aqua Matic Eye Shadow Pencils, to the Aqua Rouge Lippies... you simply can't go wrong this summer with these amazing products! Here's what I'm loving!

Simplify your make up routine with an eye-catching new collection of smudge proof color that stays put no matter where the day, or night, may take you!  The latest addition to MAKE UP FOR EVER's coveted Aqua family, new Aqua Matic is a range of long-lasting, glide-on eye shadow pencils created for make up pros and novices alike! I'm loving the Iridescent Lime Green I-30... yes it's a bit flashy but so fun for summer! Another must-have from the collection is S-52 Satiny Flesh-Colored Pink.  This color is SO PERFECT for lining the inner corners of your eyes for a beautiful highlight or just simply swiped over lids.  Dab a little on your cupid's bow for added dimension... yes, i know it's an eye shadow stick but think outside the box!  I'm headed to Sephora this week to add a few more colors to my collection!  I've got my eyes on Iridescent Electric Blue I-22 and Iridescent Turquoise I-20.  I'm obsessed with blues, turquoises and cobalts, particularly this time of year! These shadow sticks glide on to the skin so softly and beautifully. I love that they stay put so you'll never have to worry about reapplying until you are ready!  They're super blendable (you have a bout 20 seconds or so to achieve the look you want).  I prefer to blend these with my fingers but a brush works well too.

MUFE's new Aqua Rouge lippie #3 in Light Rosewood is perfection at its best.  This gorgeous nude will look amazing on just about anyone!  The stay power is insane!  But unlike many drying formulas, this double sided beauty includes a sheer gloss to swipe over your lips to ensure they remain soft and smooth.  I have a few of these lippies and love them so much!  They're prefect for when you need your lip situation to stay put for an extended period of time!

MUFE's Aqua Lip Liner in 24C Vintage Coral is a perfect compliment to your Aqua Rouge Lip selection.  This beauty glides on your lips beautifully making application a cinch!  Also, i love covering my entire lip with this particular shade and swipe the gloss from the Aqua Rouge lippie across my lips for a bit of shine.  Seriously.... perfection!

Lastly, i was most excited to try MUFE's new Smokey Extravagant Mascara!  I'm always on the lookout for great lash options and this was a great one! It's sort of a dual purpose situation as the brush has a cone shape with a precision tip that helps separate lashes as the rounded base creates extravagant volume! The formula is sleek, shiny and the black in intense which i love.  It uses 4D technology, allowing an exclusive microdefining wax complex to envelope the lash surface in ultra-black pigments for far away impact and up-close precision.  I have tiny lashes and this mascara certainly provided a ton of volume and length.  My only suggestion is to let your lashes dry completely before touching them in any way or you'll run the risk of smudging.  For me it took a little longer than expected... a couple of minutes maybe?  However, once it's dry, it's not going anywhere!

Overall, i loved the new addition to Make Up For Ever's Aqua collection.  I swear, when it comes to waterproof... these products never budge!  They're always a summer favorite of mine and certainly a staple in my make up collection.  You can purchase these beauties at Sephora.
