BARESKIN Pure Brightening Serum Foundation by Bare Minerals

When i first spotted BareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation by Bare Minerals, i knew i had to get my hands on it.  Little did i know that I'd actually score this baby for free (including the brush) at BeautyCon last weekend! I couldn't wait to put it to the test... after all, i generally trust my complexion products to It Cosmetics so Bareskin had big shoes to fill!  So, did this baby live up to all the hype?

BareSkin foundation is a coconut-derived base with jojoba-coated mineral pigments and brightening ingredients.  This skin loving formula is free of silicone, oil, parabens, fragrance, is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and is dermatology tested. The formula is lightweight and buildable to achieve desired amount of coverage.  What i found wonderful about this foundation is that it doesn't feel like a typical foundation.  The formula is so light that i seriously feel as though I'm not wearing makeup.  While it did provide a good amount of coverage, and for the most part evened out my complexion, it didn't fully cover all of my redness.  I think this is actually a great foundation to wear daily if you're looking for a lightweight formula.  However, on days i want to truly cover up any sort of major uneveness, i'll have to reach for my It Cosmetics CC cream.  That stuff really does the job for me!  This foundation is available in 20 shades so there's something for everyone!

Lets chat about the super amazing Skin Perfecting Face Brush!  If you pick up this foundation and wonder whether or not you'll need the brush, I'm here to tell that you do!  This brush is expertly designed with a unique fluid reservoir that allows you to adjust your coverage to the drop for a truly seamless application. All you have to do is shake, drop and buff!  It's that easy!  Pour a few drops into the center of the brush and apply in circular motions.  Add as much or as little as you wish until you reach the desired amount of coverage. BareSkin has SPF 20 so your skin is protected from the sun!  Overall, i found the application process to be super easy and recommend this foundation as an everyday product IF you're looking for a lightweight, medium coverage foundation.  I like that it has sun protection and is free of anything that might aggravate my skin.  I do however feel that if you are looking for a deep coverage, while maintaining your skin nourished, It products are the way to go!
