Jamberry Nail Wraps

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

I'm a big fan of nail wraps!  While i own an insane amount of nail polishes, i will say that nail art is not exactly my forte.  I mean, don't get me wrong, i can certainly handle a fancy mani but there are just some things that are better left to the experts.  This is why i turn to nail wraps when i'm thirsting for a more elaborate mani.  Jamberry has quite the assortments!  Anything you can think of, they've probably got you covered!  Today, i'm showing you one of my personal favorite designs, Mint Green and Gold Horizontal Pinstripe.  I love the color combo as well as the simplicity of this lovely stripe print.  While it's certainly fun to place these beauties on all of your nails, i actually love pairing them with a complimentary polish.  For this mani, i've decided to pair it with Sally Hansen's Prabal Gurung 2013 collaboration Coat of Arms.  These wraps are easy to apply if you properly follow instructions.  I'll admit, my first attempt was not exactly a success, however, i learned a trick that made application a cinch!  Once you peel the nail wrap out of the paper, use a blow drier on the hottest setting to smooth the nail wrap.  Then proceed with the application.  Once you've applied it, there's something called a 'baggie method' that worked quite well in keeping the wrap looking smooth and kink free!  Check out this short video for the full tutorial!

Overall, the application process is relatively easy once you get the hang of it. Bonus?  No drying time!  This is awesome news for this busy mommy!  There have been countless times where i've put my girls to bed, decide to give myself a mani and just as i'm waiting for it to dry, one of my girls calls for me!  Ack!  Well, you'll never have to worry about such situations with these beauties! Oh and another bonus... they last up to two weeks on nails and four weeks on toes!  Woohoo!  For more info, check out Jamberry's full array of designs!

Thank you SO MUCH for reading! XOXO, Carla - FMM
