Pixi for the Holidays!

Can you believe the holidays are this coming weekend?!  Oh my gosh how did they sneak up on us like that?  Are you still scrambling to find some last minute gifts and stocking stuffers?  Well no worries because i have a few fun ideas from Pixi that will help you check off those last few people off your list!  Pixi has some amazing products that cover both makeup and skincare.  Some of which i consider my holy grail products and the best part?  They're available at Target which is quite possibly one of my favorite places on earth!  I should seriously just turn my paycheck over to them considering i practically live there!  So let's break down a few great options shall we?

Pixi by Petra Palette Rosette

This is the perfect 'all in one' palette!  This is perfect for the traveler in your life!  You see, it's a perfect fit in your travel bag plus it covers just about everything from brows to cheeks!  It features a gorgeous set of neutrals that compliment all skin tones!  Honestly, this palette is such a steal!  I think it makes a wonderful gift!

Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo

This has been a staple in my makeup repertoire for years now.  This blush duo is soft and so wearable!  It makes such a sweet little stocking stuffer!  Oh and the best part?  It conveniently comes with a kabuki brush!

LipLift Max and MatteLustre Lipstick

Pixi lip products are the bomb!  Just ask my mom! When i introduced her to her first Pixi lippie she instantly became hooked.  And who could blame her really?!  Pixi really takes the time to make their lip products wearable and super comfortable!  The LipLift Max is the ultimate gloss!  It provides your lips with instant shine while offering a lovely minty flavor!  You can wear it alone or over your favorite lipstick.  Speaking of lipstick, the Pixi MatteLustre Lipsticks are the most comfortable long-lasting lipsticks!  I have just about every shade and swear by this amazing formula.  While i wouldn't say it's a true matte, you can still get the look with a little blotting action!  Bonus?  They're super comfy on the lips!  Toss these two in your girlfriend's stocking and she'll love you for life!

Pixi Fairy Dust

There's nothing better than adding a little sparkle to your holiday stocking right?  Pixi's Fairy Dust is seriously gorgeous and believe it or not, is completely wearable!  That's what i love about Pixi... Petra understands what women want!  She carefully designs products that keep all women in mind regardless of their age!  Don't dismiss these if you think you're 'too old' to wear pigment!  First, don't every say you're 'too old' for anything because age is just a number but really, these are beautiful and wear so well.  Simply dab a little over your shadow if you don't want to go all in or perhaps just a touch in the center of your lips for little something special!  You see, you don't have to bathe in a product to make it work for you!

Rose Oil Blend, Nourishing Cleansing Balm and Glow Tonic To-Go

If you haven't tried Pixi Skin Treats you haven't lived! Honestly, Pixi skincare is so gentle and effective and luxurious and affordable!  I could go on and on with the 'ands' but truth be told, i have a ton of it on my nightstand for a good reason!  The Rose Oil Blend leaves my combination skin feeling soft and hydrated.  It smells like heaven making the application process a truly pampering one.  After applying, i rub the access product all over my hands leaving them soft and smelling like a dream!  I've been so into cleansing balms lately.  They're so gentle and remove makeup beautifully!  I'm loving Pixi's Nourishing Cleansing Balm!  I use it every night followed by a gentle cleanser and it works so well!  If you've kept up with my blog over the past couple of years, you know my obsession with Pixi's Glow Tonic!  I swear when Petra released the Glow Tonic To-Go pads she was thinking of me!  Hahah ok seriously though... this make my whole life so much easier!  I remember the days of pouring Glow Tonic into a small tube to take on vacation with me (this is prior to the travel-sized version), but now, all i have to do is reach for a Glow Tonic To-Go pad and i'm done!  It's just so easy!  This btw, is a holy grail product of mine and i think everyone on earth should own it! Toss a few Pixi Skin Treats in your favorite lady's stocking and watch that glow with joy!

Pixi's Terrific Trio

 

 

 

I've been obsessing over this powerful trio by Pixi! I simply love how these products instantly brighten my complexion without overpowering my skin.  Before Pixi sent these over, I had actually purchased the Redness Reducing Primer because, well, as you all know, this is one of my major skin issues!  While it wasn't love at first swipe initially, the more I applied, the more I became a fan. You see, you must keep in mind that this is a primer and not a full coverage foundation.   It's meant to create a wonderful canvas for your makeup application.  It helps to even your skin out and certainly reduces much of the horrid redness i have going on.  This primer is green which balances out the redness in the skin.  No worries, this completely blends into your skin!  A fun little trick that I learned is to keep it in the fridge.  I find that it really calms my oh so sensitive skin... oh and bonus, it feels soooo nice! Move over Smashbox primer, you've been officially replaced!

 

OK Pixi's Eye Brightening kit has me doing a happy dance!  Seriously, this quad keeps me looking as though I've slept for 10 hours even when most nights, i'm lucky if I get 6!  This is not a thick, overpowering concealer, but you can bet it covers!  I love dabbing the green on my dark circles and watching them disappear right before my eyes!  Literally!  A few dabs of concealer over that and I instantly look awake and ready to face the day.  The highlighter is perfection!  In fact, I've used it so much that sadly, this morning, I actually saw the bottom of the container!  What?!  That says a lot for a beauty blogger with enough makeup to last a lifetime!  This calls for another trip to Target for a Pixi run....  tough job but somebody's gotta do it!

 

Pixi's Crayon Combo Eye Shadow Pencil in Wide Awake is simply uhhhh-mazing!  I use this anywhere on my face that I want to highlight... the inner corner of my eyes, my cupid's bow above my lips, chin, right below my eye brows... you name it!  Interestingly, if you follow Pixi on Instagram, they posted a super cool picture of someone illustrating a technique called 'cat whiskers highlighter trick'!  If you have a moment, you should definitely check it out!  Very informative and it WORKS!
