Last July, i was fortunate enough to be a part of the IT Cosmetics commercial shoot in LA! This was a dream come true for me because this is a brand i have trusted and loved for years. In fact, when it comes to my complexion, this is IT for me! I had the time of my life in Hollywood and came home with incredible new memories. You can read all about my trip here. Meeting Jamie was a truly surreal experience! She's just as beautiful and sweet in person as she is on TV. It all went down like this... after my on camera interview, i was instructed to go into the building across from the current set. As i opened the door, Jamie stood there with her gorgeous signature smile, arms wide open welcoming me into the room. The cameras rolled as I literally screamed towards her with excitement like one of those crazy game show contestants! All i could think of was 'get it together Carla', but hello, I'm meeting Jamie for the first time!!! She held my hand so tight and as i began pulling away she held on even tighter and said, "I'm not letting go of your hands". Her words were so piercing in the sweetest of ways. I couldn't believe all the things she said to me because all i could think of was, 'wait, that's what i think about you!" She is just as genuine and inspiring in person as she is on TV.
I'm so blessed to have had this incredible experience. Oh and i couldn't reveal before but Alison Sweeney hosted the show and if you thought she was pretty on TV... she's absolutely stunning in person! Wow!
Well, after many months of waiting, the show is finally airing on TV (check your local listings under 'No More Wrinkles") and hopefully you'll get a glimpse of little old meeee! It was so nice to see it all come to fruition. I absolutely loved seeing some of the beautiful faces of women i met during the shoot. Their stories inspired me and i feel so grateful to have had this amazing experience.
