It's the most wonderful time of the year.... OK really that should read 'It's the most stressful time of the year' because let's face it, the holidays can be quite overwhelming! As a mommy of twin girls, I want to make this time extra special for them because I know that I have a short window of time before they get older and no longer appreciate the magic of the holidays. However, I constantly find myself in a mad rush to get it all done and somehow forget how to actually enjoy those precious moments. Well, let's put a stop to the holiday stress once and for all! I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to help you sneak a moment to sit back and take time to pamper your hair and skin during the hectic holiday chaos.
First thing you'll need to do is head to your local Costco! Yes, you read correctly! Stay with me will you? Costco carries some of my favorite P&G products so I always make sure I'm well stocked! How frustrating is it to run out of your favorite skin and hair care! Costco makes it easy to stock up on products you love in sizes that will last you way longer than the drugstore version. Best part? Not having to constantly restock your favorite products actually saves you time! Pssst... the time that I just saved you with this quick tip will now be used to pamper yourself OK?! This is why the first step to your holiday glow begins with a trip to Costco. Genius, I know!
OK, now that you've stocked up on your favorite P&G products from Costco, you'll need to steal a moment to get your glow on. I get it, your day is crazy and you're just not sure it will ever end. This is seriously the story of my life. But i'll tell you this, for me, many of my 'me moments' happen when the kiddies go to bed. At the end of a long day, I love nothing more than a nice relaxing bath. So here are a few tricks on how I unwind! First, I light my favorite candle because it not only creates a serene ambiance, but if you pick the right scent it will help set a relaxing mood. Next, I have a play list ready with all of my favorite tunes. A bath is so much more fun with great music don't you think? Now the fun part... let's talk hair! I've trusted Pantene Shampoos and Conditioners throughout the years to keep my locks shiny and healthy. Pantene Advanced Care is my current favorite duo! First, I create a nice lather using the shampoo to really work through my hair. The essential vitamins in Pantene's Advanced Care shampoo ensure that my strands look shiny, healthy and clean!
