Nail Rock and Pure Ice Nail Polish

Sunday, December 1, 2013

I'm always on the lookout for fun, innovative nail polish!  After all, I own enough to start my own nail salon and always feel as though I don't have enough!  I know... I have issues!  I recently had a chance to try Nail Rock from Rock Beauty London and have a new found respect for these amazing little polishes!

I swatched Nail Rock's Glitter Dust Pink which was a subtle pale pink nail polish that applied very sheer but pretty.  Then you dip your nails in the gorgeous pink glitter dust and voila... glitter nails!  I wasn't sure that I was going to love the end result but quite honestly, I fell instantly in love!  The nails became saturated in glitter providing enough sparkle and shine to glam up your holiday look!  I absolutely love this... oh and best part?  It's actually easy to remove!  You all know how difficult removing glitter nail polish can be right?  It's an ongoing struggle here... however, this was a cinch!
I was particularly excited to try Nail Rock in Moon Silver as I'd never had a chance to try caviar nails!  So basically you apply a couple of coats of this metallic silver and then dip your fingers of choice into the gorgeous caviar beads... that's it!  Spectacular!  Only down side is you need to give this mani ample time to dry.  If you're impatient like me... you'll need to really prepare for this!  I'll tell you that it's completely worth the wait!
I also swatched some Pure Ice nail polishes in fun shimmery colors perfect for the festive holiday season!  The colors I swatched were Get Low, a metallic gold (pssst metallic and golds are mah-jor for spring 2014... i'll share more soon), Saddle Me Up, the prettiest shimmery green, and Deja Vu a wild midnight blue shimmer!   The colors apply a little sheer.  If you're looking for full coverage you'll need at least two coats... but no worries, they dry quickly!  Overall the colors were really fun to wear!

So lets chat!  Have you tried any of these products?  What were your thoughts?

Thank you SO MUCH for reading! XOXO Carla - FMM
