Happy Holidays!

Wishing you all the happiest of holidays!  I feel especially blessed this year because i got to spend Christmas with my family!  Everyone slept over and it was one big slumber party!  I treasure and value these moments tremendously because i also know what it's like to spend the holidays without family.  I remember one year my dad was in the hospital after suffering a heart attack which was devastating.  Last year, my grandma felt incredibly sick and we had to rush her to the hospital on Christmas day... that was horrible too!  So this year, all i wanted from Santa was to spend the day with my family free of illnesses!  I will never take these celebratory moments for granted because i know that life is precious and tomorrow is not promised. I hope Santa was just as good to you as he was to me!  Thank you all for your continued support!  I have a very special surprise for you so stay tuned!

Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to wish every single one of you who celebrate... my beautiful readers... a very Merry Christmas! Leading up to today, i honestly felt very overwhelmed by all the stresses we put ourselves through during this time of year.  I felt as though i missed out on actually enjoying some of the special moments leading up to today because i was too consumed by making sure i got presents for everyone on my list.  I think this year served as a good lesson for future Christmases.  I'm going to make a file of everyone i buy for and organize myself as best as i can so that next year, things can go a little smoother.  It's all good though... stress and all, i feel nothing but gratitude for having the things that really matter in life.  I have a beautiful family, my health and i am so loved by so many. My heart is full and ultimately, that is the greatest gift one can ever ask for.  So forgive me if i haven't posted as much, or if i go through times where i don't post as often, but i always try and remind myself that this little blog of mine is a passion, never a job.  I love writing it.... and there will be time where life gets in the way and that's OK.  It's always there for when I'm ready to post...  and when i do, it's always from the heart.  Merry Christmas... we had our annual tradition of brunch in our Christmas PJ's and just enjoyed great food, laughter, awesome presents and really... just watching my little girls enjoy the magic of it all.  I know this 'magic' won't last forever so I'm trying to enjoy all the little moments.  Hope you are too.... xoxo, Carla - FMM
