Prabal Gurung for MAC

Every so often, MAC releases a collection that has me swooning.  Their collaboration with Prabal Gurung was one that had me glued to my email anticipating its release! The second it was released, i went to town.  This collection is very pricey yes, but it's very very luxurious! The packaging is gold and quite heavy. It reminds me a bit of the beautiful Tory Burch packaging.  I wound up purchasing the eye shadow duo in Cinder along with all three lippies from the collection. The colors are insanely gorgeous and apply beautifully gliding on my lips like butter.  They last long and create a strong impact!  The eyeshadow duo that i selected is ideal for a smokey eye.  The pigment isn't as strong as the MAC eyeshadows I'm accustomed to but is certainly pretty and very workable.  Is it worth the price?  Probably not, but the lippies are soooo worth every penny!  Sadly, the lipsticks are all sold out online. Your best bet is ebay although expect to pay top dollar for these beauties.  You can however still score the lip glosses in the same shades as the sold out lipsticks.  I just ordered one because clearly... i just can't be stopped!
