Tarte's Golden Days and Sultry Nights Amazonian Clay Collector's Shadow Palette

I'm obsessed with great packaging!  So it was inevitable that when i walked past Tarte's Golden Days and Sultry Nights Amazonian Clay Collector's Shadow Palette (phew, quite a mouth full) i just knew that there was no way i was leaving this beauty behind!  This brightly hued floral palette reminds me of the most glorious days i spent in the gorgeous islands of Hawaii!  Since i don't have any plans to go back any time soon, i decided to toss this baby in my shopping cart and make it my new summer bff!  Wow, was i glad that i did! With solely 5 warm hued shadows, this palette makes a simple yet powerful statement.  The colors work well together, they can also be blended for additional color options, or worn alone... and i love that there is a perfect marriage of shimmer and matte shadows. The show stopper shadow is easily Ocean View (the most stunning Jade you'll ever set your eyes on).  Ocean View is the one of the three shimmer shadows.  The other two are Caipirnha Cocktails (gold) and Tropical Sunset (bronze).  I love to use Caipirnha to highlight the inner corners of my eyes for a more dramatic look.  Toes in Sand is the quintessential white shadow that i personally feel every palette needs.  I find that it's always a great base to brighten eyes!  Espadrilles (matte taupe) is quite possibly one of the prettiest and incredibly versatile lid colors ever! I find myself reaching for it all the time!  The shadows are very pigmented and the color payoff is intense.  On me, these shadows last all day (with primer of course)!  I am definitely toting this pretty palette on all of my summer travels!  I'm pretty sure i will not be needing anything else, except perhaps a fruity drink?!  You can pick up this beauty here and here!
