All About That Cheek!

With the warmer weather upon us, i am so excited to finally transition my makeup into happy springy hues!  A great start is with a gentle flush of cheek color.  I've recently discovered Vincent Longo's Chiara Flush Stick and we had an immediate connection!  This creamy, easy to blend hybrid stick of matte and pearly tones combines a pretty flush of cheek color with a built in highlighter for the perfect glow!  This sexy little number is formulated with Vitamin E, Shea Butter (one of my favorite ingredients for skin and hair) and Jojoba to nourish and hydrate skin while delivering a healthy, natural flush. It's available in three color combos though mine is in Ibisca (a gorgeous peony pin with a shimmering pink quartz core). You can swipe this beauty across your cheeks and blend or opt to use the colors individually!  Personally, i like to dab this baby on my lips too for a pretty flush of pink.  The highlighter is great to add to the very center of your pout to spice things up a bit! 

Using the right tools to apply your makeup is essential in ensuring your final result is flawless.  This is why for years, my go-to tool has been my beloved beautyblender!  Seriously, this one of my holy grail can't live without tools. While i have many amazing brushes, and some actually do a decent job at applying foundation, there is no actual brush that can take the place of what this little sponge can do!  This powerhouse can blur out lines, blend makeup for a gorgeous airbrushed look and has a multitude of functions.  While it's great for applying foundation and is essentially the only thing i use these days to apply mine, you can actually use it for other things too like contouring, highlighting or applying your cream blush!  I love to use my new Red Carpet limited edition beautyblender to apply my Vincent Longo Chiara Flush Stick to my cheeks!  I find that using the beautyblender gives me way more color control.  I simply wet my sponge, swipe a bit of color on my cheeks and blend blend blend!  Oh and don't be fooled by impostors, i promise you, if it's not the beautyblender brand, it's not good enough!  There are so many bad imitations out there but this is the one time I'm gonna tell you that the splurge is worth every last cent!
