Marc Jacobs Beauty

When I first learned about Marc Jacobs' beauty launch, my heart nearly stopped!  I've always been obsessed with this designer and to pair his fashion genius with the beauty world is simply brilliant! This launch happened while I was on vacation, however, when I returned, I quickly made my way to Sephora to see what all the hype was about.  I. was. floored! Move over Chanel, because Marc Jacobs' new line is the ultimate in luxury!  Not only is it beautifully and delicately packaged, but the pigmentation and quality absolutely blew me away!  This line is very pricey, so I carefully selected a few items that I felt would create a fresh Fall look and proceeded to play just as soon as I got home.

The Eyeshadow trio in "The Ingenue" consists mostly of nudes.  It's a wonderful palette when you want to play up your lips! The pretty nudes in this palette will keep your eyes looking simple and bright!  For impact, just pack on your favorite mascara and you're good to go!  I especially love that it's outfitted with a sweet back fabric casing making this already beautiful palette... well, spectacular!

So for the perfect compliment to this palette, i opted for a strong impact with plum nails and lips! I officially declare these Fall must-haves!  OMG gorj!  Marc Jacobs nail polish in Secret Love is the most perfect eggplant shade you will ever find!  The formula is rich and creamy.  It applies quite easily.  Two coats and your nails will be perfection! 

 

OK, lets chat lips.  When I first laid eyes on MJ's Lip Gel in Pretty Little I knew I had to have this stunning bundle of shimmering berry!  Without fail, every single time I  wear this gorgeous lip color, I get a ton of requests for brand, color etc!  Seriously, everyone needs this stunner for Fall... everyone!

Lucky for me, when i purchased these beauties, Sephora offered a MJ Gel Crayon in Blacquer in exchange for 100 points which I promptly did.  Wow, this rich eyeliner will create a ton of impact with a simple swipe.  This black is deep and applies so smoothly.  I'm smitten!

I was so impressed with Marc Jacob's beauty collection that I am planning to add plenty more to my makeup repertoire!  Yes, it's expensive, but I know that I'm getting a quality product when I purchase this making it all worth while!  So have you tried MJ beauty?  What's your favorite item?
