A couple of weeks ago, i attended a Target Beauty Event in NYC featuring a ton of new launches! I previewed everything from hair care to makeup! I'm beyond excited to share with you some of the products that truly stood out to me.
Good Chemistry is a new fragrance brand that nails the packaging game and promises to indulge even the most selective of noses with their gorgeous array of natural scents. Their fragrances are formulated with essential oils and steers clear of any harmful chemicals. I sampled a few and fell madly in love with Queen Bee because it essentially smells like Beyonce! OK so obviously i don't know what Beyonce smells like because i never met her BUT i truly believe that she smells as sweet and feminine as this gorgeous fragrance.
Another brand that instantly caught my eye was Kristen Ess... a hair brand packaged in the most sleek, blush toned bottles you'll ever see. I initially noticed the Temporary Rose Gold Tint and had to have it. If you follow me on instagram and have watched my insta-stories then you are well aware that i'm currently sporting rose gold hair and LOVING IT! This product is so innovative. It works so quickly and easily and there's very little commitment. Tip: After washing, towel dry your hair and spray this beauty through your strands (this will only work on blonde or highlighted hair). Leave in for about two minutes and then rinse. Follow with your favorite conditioner and enjoy your rose gold strands! It's been so fun using this product! I've already gone through an entire bottle. I love that there's very little commitment as it washes out in one or two shampoos. I'm definitely trying more from the line!
As you all know, Pixi is very near and dear to my heart! Naturally, i'm always excited to see what's next for this amazing brand! Before heading to this event, Pixi hinted at something major so i was thrilled to learn the big secret. They're launching a collab with Dulce Candy, Chloe Morello and Weylie. I got to preview the palettes and they're so pretty! Dulce is releasing a lip palette and eye shadow palette, Weylie's palette is very much my jam featuring gorgeous earth tone shadows and a liner. Chloe's palette is all about creating gorgeous glowy lips. She's also launching a sparkly lippie! Aside from the collabs, i saw some major beauties in the line up. First, y'all know i LOVE Glow Tonic and just when you think things couldn't get any better (i mean, how does one mess with perfection?!), they release Rose Tonic!!! Oh Em Gee this tonic is HEAVEN. In fact, i just applied some on my face and i can still smell the lingering rose scent that's not overpowering in any way... but oh so delightful in every way possible! I also LOVED the two highlighter duos that are so incredibly pigmented and buttery. The last thing to catch my eye was the Jasmine Oil Blend... it smells divine!!!! Leaves my skin looking and feeling radiant! Way to go Pixi!!
Sonia Kashuk is foregoing the production of her makeup line to focus solely on creating gorgeous brushes, brush products and beauty bags. I think this is a fantastic idea. In fact, i got to play with some of the new brushes and i think the quality is even better than the previous collections. They're bringing the look back to a classic black and gold but eventually will introduce some limited edition sets that we love oh so much. I'm also LOVING the makeup/travel bags show above. The backpack is SO DANG CUTE! As soon as i see it at my local Target, i am picking it up because it's so darling!
So many products to talk about. If you love Bliss products, Target will have a line of exclusive Bliss products (so psyched about this), elf has a new Beauty Shield mask that is already in my virtual shopping cart. Basically you apply it on your face and remove it with a wand that removes the mask with a magnet (the wand doesn't need to touch your face).... amazing! Many of these products launched this week so now's the time to shop Target because there are so many amazing finds to choose from!
This event was so informative and fun because i finally got to see my friend Niki of Hello Miss Niki (hadn't seen her in over a year and i adore her)! We got to make flower crowns, take silly selfies and chat beauty all night long... my kind of event!
